The family receives the barony of Wonsowo, named after its estate in East Prussia (present-day Poland).<\/p>\n<p><strong>7 December 1889<\/strong><br \/>\nBirth of Kurd von Hardt in Cassel (Germany), son of Friedrich Wilhelm and Anna Elisabeth, n\u00e9e Mumm von Schwarzenstein, from Frankfurt, 5th child of the couple, who will have 6.<\/p>\n<p><strong>1911-1913\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/strong><br \/>\nTravels in South America<\/p>\n<p><strong>1914-1915\u00a0\u00a0<\/strong><br \/>\nHospitalised in a clinic in Davos to treat his tuberculosis.<\/p>\n<p><strong>1915-1918<\/strong><br \/>\nGerman diplomatic service. His tuberculosis recurs.<\/p>\n<p><strong>1919-1938<\/strong><br \/>\nSettles in Tuscany (Italy) and Ticino (Switzerland). First plans about the creation of a foundation supporting artists.<\/p>\n<p><strong>1938-1948<\/strong><br \/>\nResides in Ticino.<\/p>\n<p><strong>1948\u00a0<\/strong><br \/>\nRents the Chandoleine, des Gouttes estate, in Vand\u0153uvres.<\/p>\n<p><strong>1949\u00a0<\/strong><br \/>\nCreates the Hardt\u00a0Foundation.<\/p>\n<p><strong>1950\u00a0<\/strong><br \/>\nPurchases the Chandoleine.<\/p>\n<p><strong>1958\u00a0\u00a0<\/strong><br \/>\nDeath of Baron.
