The Foundation will reopen its doors on Monday, January 29th until Saturday, November 30th, 2024 with the exception of the period from August 26tt to September 8th due to the organisation of the Entretiens, as well as during the week of October 14th due to the Foundation’s annual conference and board of trustees and Scientific Commission Meetings.
The Hardt Foundation welcomes international scholars and researchers specialising in the study of Classical Antiquity, on request or by invitation, for research stays of two weeks to two months.
The Foundation seeks to foster a scholarly community. With communal meals and shared social space, it promotes the exchange of ideas among scholars of different generations and national traditions.
Up to eleven guests can be accommodated simultaneously in nine rooms with private bathrooms. Rates include full board. The Foundation does not cover travel expenses.
Young researchers (up to 35 years old) can apply for scholarships through the online registration form.
